Guest editors

Simon LIGHTFOOT

Luciana Alexandra GHICA

This special issue marks the European Year for Development 2015 and the adoption of the new UN agenda on peace and development, currently known as The Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The papers included in this issue express a large variety of policy and academic puzzles, while also addressing questions relevant particularly for the new European donors of official development aid from Central and Eastern Europe. The editors benefited from the logistical support of the Centre for International Cooperation and Development Studies (IDC) at the Faculty of Political Science - University of Bucharest. The opinions expressed in the texts are the sole responsibility of their authors.
